Swans for Play by Emma Bertuchoz
Swans for Play is a performance and dance piece in four acts exploring the grey zone between seduction and manipulation. Through a lesbian gaze, two protagonists build up an intense dynamic of mutual desire. Reclaiming clichés of seduction with their strangeness and playfulness. Not only embodying their human selves, they step in and out of embodying a hybrid deer and swan creature. Oscillating between human and animalistic states: gazing, desiring, manipulating one another.
