Leaking Bodies by Lina Katt, Selma Sandhagen, Paula Behrens

Leaking Bodies is a performative installation exploring the body as porous, interconnected, and gloriously leaky. Bodies are imagined as tubes, channels, and containers that merge, swap, and spill into one another. How can water act as a collaborating performer, proposing it’s own logic and temporality? How can there be agency in directing the audience’s gaze while inviting them to look at something quite intimate?
Through performative interventions, the installation becomes activated. Bodies shift from structure to meaning, merging the erotic with the ecological. The work explores water as a material and its intimate relationship with the body, lingering in the sweet spot between connection and contamination.
